This is online Gor

Greetings A/all, wisteria wanted to speak for a few minutes about this mysterious, wild and wonderful world of Gor.

for new comers, it may seem real strange, but not really, the world that W/we portray at the Central Fire, is based on a serious of books written by John Norman, in the late 60's, now are out of print completely. But they can be found in used book stores and online.

In this virtual reality, Gor has been taken and mixed with BDSM. Role-playing, aye, and more!

From this Gorean virtual world many Master/slave relationships develop, which goes beyond the bounds of VT. True submission develops and a bond forms.

If O/one reads the Books of Gor, Y/you will notice the difference between the actions of what is in the books and what is done online. Some are very different; for example...

1. In the books, the slaves names are all capped, "Vella", not "vella", and on line, the lower case letter is used to let A/all know who is a slave and who is a Freeperson.

2. The slaves in the books speak, first and third person, and online, only third person is spoken by the slaves, "this girl loves her Master", like that, it is to denote that a slave is a person, a slave is mere property: BUT, property that a Master takes great care of.

3. Serving blackwine is different also, in the books, ordering black wine second slave, (is having two slaves serve, one serves the black wine and the other slave brings the milk and sugars, and adds them to the cup). On line, in some taverns, ordering black wine second slave, means, only one slave serves, but the milk and sugars are on the side and added to the cup if the Master wishes them, after kneeling before the Master.

4. White and Red silk issues, in the books, a white silk slave refers to a slave who has not yet been taken by a Master, a virgin, and online, a white silk slave is one, who is under restriction, or only to be used by or at her Master's whim......Red silk refers to a slave who has been used; not a virgin.

These are only a few accommodations that are made, to bring the world of online Gor to O/our hearts and souls and to touch the world that John Norman had created so long ago.
